In this project, the multiple surfaces of surf city are purposely detached from one another and define an area of program that creates a new space in between. These two surfaces act as a datum detached from one another and define two very different spatial relationships. These relationships allow the site to be accessed in many ways from multiple locations allowing a sense of openness which is dissimilar from the region.
