This project provides a vision for the redevelopment and revitalization of the South Linden neighborhood. The students believe that this proposal addresses Health + Safety, Housing + Commerce, and Community + Identity through the design of a place that prioritizes pedestrian-friendly streets, a highly visible and heavily programmed recreation corridor, diverse housing options, a concentrated commercial area, and rebuilding the pride of the neighborhood by bringing athletics to the forefront.
