The project for a landfill visitor's center found its point of departure in the dynamic nature of the site and its conditions. Program is broken up and separated into large wedges whose geometry interacts with the compaction rates of the landfill to encourage movement through the site. As the landfill grows, it will eventually over take blocks, and either eliminate or give new life to the space carved out of them.
