This is a student project by Allie Roberson for ARCH 841 in Autumn 2010. By raising the building off the ground, people and views were able to travel across the site to the existing Visitor Center and a new 'ground' was able to form on top of the building for bikes and people. The resulting program was then rapped with a band that thickens to allow circulation to inhabit it and internal or external voids to form within the mass. These different conditions that the band forms, along with the different types of circulation that occur within the program, can then be observed from the exterior of the building. This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University. It is part of an effort to make accessible student work ranging from the first student that graduated from the program in 1903 to the present. The effort to preserve and digitize drawings in the Student Archives was sponsored in part by the Graham Foundation.~root~>
