- The Veterinary Hospital is Herrick Archives Number 299. It is located at 601 Tharp Street (formerly 1953/1935 Coffey Road). Plans and related documents were prepared by Timothy G. Armstrong, and the general contractor was C. C. Vogel General Contractors. The entire building was released for user occupancy in early 1973, and the Veterinary Clinic moved into the building during June and July 1973. in 1989, the Board of Trustees approved a plan for an addition to the west side of the Veterinary Hospital. This provides a facility to house horses used in the College of Veterinary Medicine's academic programs and privately owned patient horses. Another major component of this project is a trauma and surgical unit for critical care equine patients. This building has also been known as the Veterinary Teaching Hospital or Clinic.
