- The Water Meter Vault is Herrick Archives Number S 04. The vault is an underground vault for housing the master meter for metering city water used on campus. The vault is approximately 8' x 12'. It is located on Cannon Drive just north of King Avenue at 598 King Avenue. The drawings for this vault are dated November 1948, and the construction probably was done the following spring or summer.
