This was a student project by Mark C. Talbot for Ashley Schafer and Meejin Yoon's ARCH 343 course, Spring 2007.
"The Ohio stadium is located at the geographic center of campus. It serves as the primary landmark for the university as well as the primary social event space for not only the university but for the entire Columbus metro area. The 1,000,000,000 sq/ft building sits dormant for 99.9% of the year. This project investigates the potential use of the space as a library to house 1/6th of the universities holdings. The books would compose a new skin for the stadium forming a pixilated screen; books could potentially be re-arranged according to applied patterns or images and serve as a billboard for the university." -- Mark Talbot
