The Apple Store Fifth Avenue occupies the underground retail concourse of the General Motors Building, with entry from the plaza level above. Designer Bohlin Cywinski Jackson used the Apple Stores' signature on the structural glass cube, which houses the transparent glass elevator wrapped by a circular glass stair.
