The facade is made of glass, zinc, and sandstone fractals. "The basic facade modules are triangular tiles, in which five tiles make up one panel and five panels comprise a larger cladding unit. These standard components reflect a high degree of asymmetry and variability." p. 111. Jencks, C. Architectural Record, June, 2003. This project is a part of Federation Square, which includes three buildings: the Atrium, National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI). The plaza includes a large auditorium for 10,000 people. Keywords: Australia, Victoria, views, commercial structures, exhibitions and exhibition structures, media center, center, interior spaces.
