Description
Baker Dormitory, also called Baker House, is located at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) on a site overlooking the Charles River. Aalto designed the dormitory in a single long curving block in order to maximize the view of the river. The students' bedrooms are located on the river side, with the rear elevation largely devoted to circulation.
