Description
Situated in the Orestad region of Copenhagen, the building brings together the showrooms of seven individual car dealers. Over half a kilometer of showroom space gradually slopes and snakes around the site. Three cylindrical towers support the sloping showroom as it climbs above. Above the showrooms is a residential level --a staggered slope of duplex apartments with private roof terraces. PLOT was founded in 2001 by architects Bjarke Ingels and Julien De Smedt.
