"The peninsulas Borneo and Sporenburg are connected by bridges. A double arched bridge in the east part and a low bridge in the west part span the 93-meter wide water channel over the railway basin at two points. These are transparent, steel trussed bridges with T-profiles and hardwood decks...A third bridge spans the 25-meter inner harbor and forms an essential link with the urban fabric. Built of 8-centimeter thick, solid granite plates, it alludes to the design of Amsterdam's classic bridges."
