Description
"The International Center for Possibility Thinking is located in tripartite arrangement in relation to the Crystal Cathedral designed by Philip Johnson in 1980, and the Tower of Hope and the Garden Grove Community Church, designed by Richard Neutra in 1966 and 1962, respectively. The partially concentric, four-story Center provides a gathering place for the congregation in an atmosphere of ease and sociability. The exterior materials of the new Center have been selected for compatibility with the existing buildings' architectural context. Embossed stainless steel panels and window wall components complement the mirrored glass of the Crystal Cathedral." -- http://www.richardmeier.com/PROJECTS/CrystalCathedral.html The building provides reception facilities for visitors, including an auditorium, gallery, library, retail space and cafe. Keywords: visitor's center.
