This garden was built in 1739 as a botanical garden for the university, but it is now owned by the city. Within an area of approximately 2.2 hectares, one can find a comprehensive collection of trees, shrubs and bushes. With its Neo-classical orangery, tropical greenhouse and fine collection of plants and flowers in botanical gardens, Kruidtuin provides green spaces for tranquillity and relaxation.
