Description
German Village is one of the premier historic restorations in the world and the largest privately funded historic district on the National Register of Historic Places. The Beck Square Park, as it was originally named, was opened in 1966. In 1985 it has been renamed for Frank Fetch, who founded the German Village Society, and re-opened to the public in 1996. This is an example of a "pocket park" located on historical Beck Street and is designed in the style of "Social Gartens of Munich (a Munich social garden)". It is maintained by the German Village Garten Club, a section of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs (OAGC). Submitted by German Village Society.
