Description
The Hietzing Pavilion was built to serve as a private railway station for the imperial family when they traveled between the Hofburg and Schonbrunn. Designed by the celebrated Secessionist architect Otto Wagner, the building features an interior richly decorated with beautifully carved mahogany. Today the pavilion is a branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Vienna.
