Description
The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden was founded upon the art collection of Joseph H. Hirshhorn, a Latvian-born immigrant turned financier. Most of his acquired art work was from post-World War II period. The Hirshhorn Museum also hosts an extensive collection of works from created in the last 30 years.
