The Incinerator is Herrick Archives Number 043. It is located at 2566 Kenny Road on The Ohio State University campus. The architect was Wyatt, Bird and Associates and the general contractor was Haig M. Boyajohn & Associates.
In 1972, the incinerator was removed, and the building was converted to storage. In 1978, a trash compactor was installed outside of the old incinerator, and the building name was changed to Refuse Station.
