Description
The Mar-A-Lago is a National Historic Landmark located in Palm Beach, Florida. It bears a Spanish name, which means "Sea to the Lake." It was once the estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post, one of the wealthiest women in American history. In 1985, Mar-A-Lago was purchased from the Post Family Trust by Donald Trump, who restored the property to its original state. The Mar-A-Lago Club has 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces, and three bomb shelters, which have been converted into storage spaces. Mar-A-Lago is firmly anchored into the barrier reef beneath it by 3-foot walls made of steel and concrete.
