Description
Raymond E Mason Hall is located at 250 W. Woodruff Ave. on the Ohio State University campus. It is shown here as Herrick Archives Building Number PH 252. Mason Hall was included in Phase II of the Fisher College project, which includes Fisher Hall (Herrick Archives Number PH 249), Gerlach Hall (Herrick Archives Number PH 250), Schoenbaum Hall (Herrick Archives Number PH 251), Pfahl Hall (Herrick Archives Number PH 253), and Blackwell Inn (Herrick Archives Number PH 254). The schematic design was approved in December 1994, and the final construction approval took place in May 1997. The architect was Karlsberger Company, and the signature architects were Cooper Robertson & Partners and Kallman McKinnel & Wood. Contracts were awarded in August, 1997, to Dugan & Meyers Construction Company, Inc. for general contracting; JA Croson Company for plumbing; Teepe's River City Mechanical for HVAC; Accurate Electric Construction for electric; and Barbara Kruger for percent for art. Mason Hall was dedicated on October 21, 1999, and houses computer labs, a business library and a computer-interactive decision-conferencing lab on the fourth floor for executives.
