Description
The Masonic Temple was designed by Janssen & Abbott, architects. It was built of limestone and detailed in terra cotta The building was acquired by Pittsburgh University in 1993 and was renovated in 2000. The building is now called Alumni Hall and houses the alumni relations office, alumni center, admissions and financial aid office, community and governmental relations office, Katz Graduate School of Business's Mellon Financial Corporation Hall, and a portion of the Center for Instructional Development and Distance Education. The Kuntu Repertory Theater, among other campus organizations, performs in the building's seventh-floor auditorium.
