Description
This was a project by Brent Warren for the CRP Internship award competition, Spring 2006. Student projects on affordable housing, neighborhood (re)development, environmental preservation, transportation, and other topics were displayed in the Banvard Gallery at the Knowlton School of Architecture on May 29 through June 9, 2006. "As an intern for the City of Columbus Department of Development, I was assigned to work in Neighborhood Services with Wil Preston, the Neighborhood Liaison for Area Nine. This area includes the North Central and Milo-Grogan neighborhoods in central Columbus. This past fall the Planning Division was starting an area plan for Milo-Grogan, so I have also been fortunate to be involved in the planning process. This project represents some of the work I have done as part of that process, specifically focusing on the Community Facilities portion of the plan." - Brent Warren This project received the first year student honorable mention at the competition. This work is a part of the online collections of the Knowlton School of Architecture Student Archives, The Ohio State University. It is part of an effort to make accessible student work ranging from the first student that graduated from the program in 1903 to the present.
