The Newman and Wolfrom Laboratory of Chemistry is shown here as Herrick Archives Building Number PH 147. It has a reinforced concrete frame and masonry skin and is located at 100 W. 18th Avenue. The laboratory was built as a 25,000 sq. ft. addition to Evans Lab in order to temporarily house the Chemistry activity that was displaced during the renovation of Mcpherson Lab.
