These ice walls were poured in molds similar to the process used in pouring concrete on site. There is pigment added to some of the walls to create a different experience of space and light.
Students from the Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University traveled to Finland with Kivi Sotamaa, faculty member in Architecture to participate in the construction of several of the installations.
