Description
Parker Food Science and Technology Building is shown here as Herrick Archives Building PH 064. It is located at 2015 Fyffe Ct on The Ohio State University campus. The Board of Trustees officially named the building "Parker Food Science and Technology Building" on December 1, 2000. The building was named for Thomas L. Parker, an OSU alumnus, business leader, and active community citizen. Alternate names for this building are the Pilot Plant Facility, and Food Science and Technology Center. The architect for the project was Burgess & Niple, the planner was Joyce Minor, and the general contractor was P.J. Dick, Inc. The building also houses a retail food products store, a bio-hazard research unit, a small animal research area, teaching labs, classrooms, offices, and the Pilot Dairy Plant Facility.
