Pioneer Square Garage, also known as "Sinking Ship garage", was built on the site of the Occidental Hotel and later the Hotel Seattle. As one project of urban renewal in the 1960's, the hotel building was replaced with a parking garage to serve Downtown Seattle. For space efficiency, all four floors of the building have direct entrances from surrounding roads.
