Description
The project entails the construction of a new 133,963 square-foot, four-story Psychology building located just to the west of Lazenby Hall and east of Cunz Hall in what was a surface parking lot. The building is a steel structure with precast concrete panels, metal siding, and extensive windows. Interior spaces include laboratories, clinics, and classrooms as well as both faculty and undergraduate office spaces. There are a series of landscape improvements planned to be completed in the Spring of '06. These will be performed in a sequence to minimize the impact on the pedestrian traffic through the area. -- http://www2.psy.ohio-state.edu/programs/department/building/ Keywords: OSU, institutional buildings, campus, education, steel frame construction, cladding.
