Description
Respected architect and stuccoworker Egid Quirin Asam and his brother, the painter and architect Cosmas Damian, bought four houses in the Sendlinger Strasse. One became a private house, two became the church, and the fourth became the priest's house. St. John Nepomuk, also called Asamkirche, or St. Johann Nepomuk, is located at Sendlinger Strasse 32, Munich. It is an example of the Rococo phase of Baroque architecture.
