Description
Scott House, named for Robert R. Scott, is located at 146 West Woodruff Avenue. It is shown here as Herrick Archives Building Number 188. Plans and related documents were prepared by W.E. Linch, University Architect, and the general contractor was Baker & Coombs, Inc. This dormitory was originally Building 6 of Student Housing Buildings, and was built at the same time as Norton House (Herrick Archives Building 186) and Haverfield House (Herrick Archives Building 182). The building was first occupied on September 23, 1963, and served as a men's dormitory. Scott House is part of the North Dorms.
