Shown here is Herrick Archives Number H 915, Sherman Hall. The building was located at 188 West Nineteenth on The Ohio State University campus. No records have been found as to the size of the building, photographs indicate the building was approximately 15 to 18 ft.
It is said that Sherman Hall housed a "rattler" machine secured by Professor C. E. Sherman. The machine was used for testing brick for highway paving.
