Description
The Short North in Columbus, Ohio is a district anchored on High Street between Nationwide Boulevard and King Avenue and is located north of downtown and south of the Ohio State University campus. In the 1860s, Goodale Boulevard, toward the southern end of the Short North, was the quiet northern edge of Columbus. By 1920, High Street was a thriving urban area, and today it is a trendy neighborhood with many restaurants, bars, and unique shops.
