Description
The South Side Settlement is a social service agency providing programs for the surrounding residential community in the south of Columbus, Ohio. The Board of Directors began raising funds for a new building in 1967. Mangurian and Hodgetts from Studio Works in Venice, California were chosen as the design architects. Their first scheme won a Progressive Architecture award in 1976. A subsequent scheme was built in 1980. -- Case Study Report, Vital Signs Case Study Competition.
