Spaces of Abraxas (Les Espaces d'Abraxas) is designed by architect Ricardo Bofill. "Le Theatre and L'Arc are elements in a monument-like composition which marks the entrance into new town of Marne-la-Vallee in the urban centre of Noisy-le-Grand... The composition as a whole created by the team of the Taller de Arquitectura at Marne-la-Vallee, forms a unity composed of three buildings and a fourth equally vital element: open space in the form a theatre-square and community meeting space. The first element, Le Theatre, is a hemicycle which encloses the square: the stage is established by the second, L'Arc, which forms a visual screen to decor at the back of this theatre, which is the third element, Le Palacio d'Abraxas." -- (1983).
