Description
The Stan Hywet Hall was designed by architect Charles S. Schneider. The landscape designer was Warren H. Manning, a Boston-based designer. The interior was designed by Hugo F. Huber. Stan Hywet Hall was built in 1912 and it became a public museum in 1957. The House was built in Tudor Revival style. The landscape incorporates many features such as the Great Meadow, the Breakfast Room garden, the allees, the lagoon, the English Garden, Elliptical Garden and the many terraces.
