Description
This project starts with four simple transformed diagrams connected to form the whole urban scale project in the central park areas in Cincinnati. The abandoned subway spaces underground and the spaces on ground level are both designed, followed by the two final diagrams. The four required elements are objects extruded from the diagram and connected by the circulation system both on plans and sections. To connect two layers of this project well and create a good circulation system, many details are designed such as slopes, stairs, and elevators. Also, in order to show the differences between two layers, parts of the bazaar spaces are designed into an irregular geometric shape, while the plaza and entrance on the ground lever are formed with symmetric shapes.
